I am Leading researcher, Professor and the Head of RTU Communication Technologies Research Center (RTU ComTech) at the Institute of Telecommunications in Riga Technical University, Riga, Latvia. My research interests include but are not limited to the development and research of WDM fiber optical access networks, radio-over-fiber technologies, 5G, passive optical network technologies, digital signal processing, and others.
